Karlo Bortalec opened the scoring for the hosts as early as in the eighth minute, driving a shot from outside the box into the top left corner of the net.

Donyoh then made it 2-0 nine minutes later with a tap-in, before a Victor Nelsson own goal on 37 minutes brought Sonderjyske back into the game.

Back from recess, Donyoh restored Nordsjaelland's two-goal cushion in the 68 minutes, beating goalkeeper Sebastian Mielitz with a cool finish after Andreas Olsen squared a ball into the box.

The Ghanaian was not done just yet as he registered his third goal and his side's fourth in the 81st minute, once again on the assist of Olsen.

The result has pushed Nordsjaelland to sixth on the league table, with Sonderjyske sitting on the 11th position.

Donyoh, uncapped by Ghana, will hope to continue his magic when The Wild Tigers play away to Hobro in the topflight on Sunday.

Compatriot and club-mate Mohammed Kudus lasted for 62 minutes in Monday's game.
