Posta Rangers are among the five teams that are still in the danger of dropping down to the National Super League.
Posta Rangers are now hanging dangerously on 17th position after Chemelil Sugar dislodged them from 16th place following the Millers’ 2-0 victory over Kakamega Homeboys on Monday.
The Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo led side must now win their next game against Kakamega Homeboyz and hope that either Chemelil Sugar, Nakumatt, Nzoia Sugar and Vihiga United stumble on the final day of action.
The team that will finish 16th on the 18-team table will have to play a home and away play-off battle against the side that will finish third in the lower league.
All the aforementioned five teams are separated by just two points, Rangers and Nakumat having the least points-37 while Zoo and the rest have a point more.
Already Wazito and Thika United have been relegated while Western Stima have secured their place in the top league from NSL.
