Cape Town City sign Teko Modise

The 34-year-old has joined on a two year deal after six years with the Brazilians

Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise has signed for Cape Town City, the Mother City side confirmed on Wednesday.

Modise joins the Citizens as a free agent on a two-year deal after failing to agree on a new deal with Sundowns in the off-season.

The 33-year-old spent over six years with the Brazilians following his arrival from Orlando Pirates and becomes the side's fourth signing after Ayanda Patosi, Lyle Lakay and Jeitoso ahead of Benni McCarthy's breakthrough season as head coach.
