This fixture has seen plenty of goals scored in recent seasons and our tipster is backing both teams to find the back of the net at Camp Nou

After the stratospheric heights of their comeback win against PSG, Barcelona were crudely brought back down to earth last weekend at Deportivo La Coruna where they lot 2-1 in La Liga.

While Gerard Pique admitted that his side would have taken the defeat at Depor in exchange for the win against PSG, the reality is that the league title is no longer in Barca's hands. What will be of comfort to the Catalans is that in this highly unpredictable season leaders Real Madrid are likely to drop points between now and the end of the season.

Sunday evening sees Valencia visit Camp Nou and Los Che have caused Barca plenty of problems over the last few years. Back in October the Blaugrana needed an injury time penalty from Lionel Messi to win 3-2 at Mestalla, while last season at the Camp Nou, Valencia pulled off a 2-1 win. The east coast club also managed a 3-2 win away to Barcelona in February 2014 an inbetween there have been plenty of closely contested games.

Despite wining two of their last three league matches at this venue, Valencia remain massive outsiders with Betfair offering them at 22/1 (23.00) while the hosts are available at 1/9 (1.11) and the draw priced at 17/2 (9.50) .

It would take an extremely bold punter to back the visitors to win, yet backing them  to get on the scoresheet requires less courage, and the price of 5/6 (1.83) for both teams to score is well worthy of consideration.

Valencia's problems this season have stemmed from their poor defence, with the side managing to find the back of the net regularly. Los Che have scored in 11 of their last 13 away league games, while Barca have conceded in six of their last seven matches in all competitions. This is a fixture that regularly produces goals, and backing them to be scored and both ends makes perfect sense.
