Denmark national team celebrating
The Red-Whites have been in blistering form lately and will look to continue when they take on Tricolorii

Denmark will host Romania in their final Group E 2018 World Cup qualifier at Telia Parken on Sunday evening.

The Danes have been in sensational form heading into this clash. Four wins on the bounce which included 4-0 victories over group leaders Poland and Armenia and a 1-0 victory away to Montenegro have seem them take control of second spot. A win here at odds of (1.36) with Bet365 would see them seal it.

For the Romanians, they were able to see off Kazakhstan 3-1 last time out. However they haven’t been solid on the road in the qualifiers where they’ve won only once. They are fourth on the log and that’s the best they can finish even if they claim victory at huge odds of (10.00).

Both sides played out a goalless draw in the reverse fixture and another stalemate at (5.25) would be enough to see Denmark make it to the playoffs.

Head to head stats favour Romania but considering that the last meeting between both teams was way back in 2003 and with the dispensation looking entirely different now, the Red-Whites are (1.071) to avoid losing.

Åge Hareide’s men have scored a whooping 12 goals in their last four qualifiers. Backing them to score more than three goals at Parken is available at (1.90).

With the Tricolorii struggling on their travels, Denmark are tipped to win to nil at (2.00) with Bet365.

Christian Eriksen has been the star performer for the Danes in the qualifiers, finding the back of the net seven times in nine apperances. The Tottenham Hotspur attacker is offered to score anytime at odds of (2.60).
