Barasa: Tusker still have a chance in Caf

Tusker FC assistant coach Francis Barasa is adamant that his team has a chance to eliminate AS Port Louis 2000 from Caf Champions League.

The two teams played out to a 1-1 draw on Saturday at Kasarani, with the Mauritius side having an advantage over the brewers. Barasa is however, confident that his charges will register the right score to progress to the next round of the competition.

“It is far from over, we still stand a chance of progressing to the next round, what we need is to go there and do our best, put the ball in the back of the net. They were defensive here, they did not open up and were more focused on taking a defensive approach,” Barasa told Goal.

"At home they will definitely open up and attack more and that means they will create room for us to play our game. I believe we will progress."

A 1-0 win for Tusker is enough to take them to the next round.
