After a resolute defending by the visitors in first half, Derrick Sassraku's struck in the winner to give the hosts their first triumph of the campaign.
"My boys did very well despite the defeat because playing against Aduana in the first away match was not easy at all and we all saw it" Hayford said.
"Winning in Dormaa Ahenkro or even taking a point has always been very difficult, so we are happy we did not disgrace ourselves. We played very well but after every football game, there must be a result either in your favour or against you. Aduana were able to utilise the only chance they had when their striker scored through the corner-kick.
“It was a fantastic display from my boys because they played to my instructions so I’m not disappointed. I know the team will be very strong as the season progresses,” he added.
