AFC Leopards star gutted over AllStars team

AFC Leopards midfielder Duncan Otieno admits he is disappointed after missing out on the SportPesa AllStars team set to play English Premier League side Hull City in February.

The former Posta Rangers man was not included in the squad that was called to prepare for the match but Otieno is adamant he will make it this season if the same procedure is repeated by the organizers.

"I’m definitely disappointed after failing to be part of the team. It is a trip every player dreams of making considering it is the first one in Kenya. Playing against an English Premier League side is a privilege and I wanted to be involved, unfortunately I could not make it.

"Next time I want to be in the team that will represent the country. I will definitely work hard and ensure I am among those that will be selected,” he told Goal.

The ultimate team, which consists of 18 players, was named on Saturday at Kasarani Stadium.
