Outspoken AFC Leopards coach, Robert Matano has hit out at officials for interfering with his work.
Matano pointed accusing fingers at two unnamed officials for recruiting players behind his back in his fierce criticism of the move that could threaten the relationship between the technical bench and the executive.
“Signing players is not the work of the club officials but mine,” Matano told Nairobi News
“Some officials have been interfering with this for a long time and it must stop,” warned former Ulinzi Stars and Bidco United tactician.
Matano is expected to lead Ingwe to the continental stage at the 2018 Caf Confederations Cup.
“Officials’ job is to look for money for the club, not bringing (men) players. Everybody should play his role,” added a fuming 'Lion'.
AFC Leopards finished eighth in the least campaign but still secured a place in the continental stage having won the GOtv Shield.
