The Uchendu Babes were stunned by the bottom-placed side in their last outing and winger said they are out to make up for it against their archrivals

Following the draw recorded at home to Remo Stars in their last Nigerian topflight match, Sheriff Bashir says Abia Warriors will be looking to return to winning ways over Enyimba in Calabar.

Both sides lock horns in the Oriental derby at the U.J Eusene Stadium on Sunday and Bashir believes nothing more than a win would do their situation any good. Especially after dropping two vital points against the Sky Blue Stars on Thursday.

"There is no much expectation it is derby match so anything can happen. But we are going there with full force because we dropped two points against Remo Stars at home. So we are going to Calabar to catch up the ones we lost against Remo," Bashir told Goal.

"We will try our possible best and see if we can get a victory. Nothing less than victory in Calabar.

"We are not working on anything special for them as it is a normal game for us. We are approaching the same way we approach out games. I'm sure it is not going to be easy for us both because it is a derby encounter.

"We should just win. Nothing less than winning. Any match we play we should just try to collect points, most especially away points. If we keep maintaining our home form, when we get out we should pick something."
