FULL TIME: WELLINGTON PHOENIX 3 CENTRAL COAST MARINERS 2 - Talk about a game of two halves. The Mariners came out of the sheds holding a 2-0 lead and in the box seat. It took only a minute for it to all fall apart. Rowles gives away a penalty and is red carded in the 46th minute and Krishna converts. Melling brings down Krishna in the box in the 58th minute, with Krishna converting the penalty again. The death blow came from Williams in the 65th minute to give the Phoenix the lead. The Mariners had a disallowed goal in the 85th minute, but the Phoenix steadied and were able to keep their cool to capture the three points.
90' + 6' Durante's 300th game will be a celebration after it looked unlikely in the first half.

It all started with the belief from the Mariners. When Simon was brought down in the box, he was able to score the first goal in the eighth minute. The Mariners continued to dominate as Hoole found a way past Kurto in the 21st minute. The Phoenix applied the pressure late in the first half, but they weren't able to reduce the Mariner's lead.
