Thanks for joining me for tonight's coverage of Liverpool 3-0 win over Norwich at Carrow Road in the third round of the EFL Cup.
The hosts are now out of the EFL Cup and will turn their attentions to staying in the Premier League, a task that looks difficult as they currently sit bottom without a point. Their opponents however have put themselves into the hat for the next round and will hope to have success in a competition that they haven't won since 2003. They will be fighting on multiple fronts as they look to win the Premier League and progress in the cup competitions, of which they are still involved in the EFL Cup, FA Cup and the Champions League.
Klopp's men cruise through to the next round of the EFL Cup as they brush aside Premier League opposition Norwich with a 3-0 scoreline. They took an early lead through Minamino, although the game could have been completely different had Tzolis converted a penalty to equalise late in the first half. Liverpool took over the game in the second half though, and confirmed their progression in the competition with goals from Origi and another from Minamino.

FULL-TIME: NORWICH 0-3 LIVERPOOL.
There will be two additional minutes at the end of this game.
Rupp is booked after he cynically dragged back Bradley as he strode forward down the Red's right side.
There's some excellent work by Rashica as he weaves through the defence before playing the ball into Idah, but his effort is again weak and easily saved by Kelleher.
Jones replaces Henderson, who takes over the captain's armband from Gomez.
Robertson puts in a corner that is dealt with at the near post by Rashica.
The Reds come forward but Oxlade-Chamberlain can't find anyone in the box or an effort on goal and the score remains 3-0.
Pukki's shot goes wide as the Canaries struggle again to get a clear effort on goal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain got the ball in the box and managed to lay it off to his teammate Minamino who squeezed a shot into the Norwich goal.
It's 3-0 to Liverpool! Oxlade-Chamberlain manages to get the ball into Minamino in the box, and his low effort squirms under Gunn. That must surely be game over, and the Reds look to be heading to the next round.
Bradley wins a throw-in high up the pitch as the Reds look to put this game to bed.
P. Lees Melou
Lees-Melou, who missed a great opportunity to equalise early in the second half, comes off for Dowell.
The hosts are running out of time to get back into this game, and haven't created a clear chance to do so in quite a while.
Rupp intercepts a cross-field ball by Robertson and shoots, but his effort goes wide left of Kelleher's goal.
The Canaries have a corner as Lees-Melou's shot is blocked by the Liverpool captain Gomez.
P. Lees Melou
Lees-Melou is booked after a poor sliding challenge that went through the back of Jones as he drove forward.
Pukki is immediately into the game but his flick onto Rashica is too far and it goes out for a throw-in.
It's an attacking change as Mumba comes off for Rashica.
Pukki replaces Tzolis as the hosts seek to get back into this game.
The visitors look the more likely to score, and you'd have to think that if they did the game would be beyond the reach of the side who sit bottom of the Premier League.
Robertson comes on for the impressive Tsimikas, and immediately takes a throw-in on the left side.
There's a break in play as Norwich have a man down. Robertson is being prepared to come on for Liverpool.
Tzolis can't bring down a lofted through ball but he would have been offside anyway.
It's close again for the Reds. Origi beats his man down the left and fires a cross into Gordon, but the winger can only send his half-volley well over.
Idah is again outmuscled by an away defender. He hasn't been able to get into the game today.
Oxlade-Chamberlain's shot from distance deflects off Gibson and looks as if it might sneak in at the back post, but it skims wide and out for a corner, from which the visitors can't create anything as Gomez's header goes flying over.
Liverpool have won both of the two meetings between these sides in this competition, including a 3-1 win in the 1979/80 quarter-final.
Oxlade-Chamberlain chases after a through ball but he is ruled to be offside. Gunn would've beaten the former Arsenal man to the ball in any case.
It's nearly 3-0! Origi is played in but he sends his effort just too far across goal and the hosts survive what surely would have been game over.
It's an inch-perfect cross by Tsimikas that set up Origi to nod home.
And it's 2-0! It's a brilliant controlled header by Origi that doubles the advantage after a brilliant cross by Tsimikas. He flicks the header to the back post and it beats Gunn in the Norwich goal.
The visitors come forward as Oxlade-Chamberlain drives forward but Jones gives a foul away and the danger is over.
It should be 1-1! The ball falls in the box and ends up with Lees-Melou in the area but he can only drive his shot well over.
The Reds get us back underway.
Keïta makes way for Morton, who is making his Liverpool debut.
The Canaries showed some signs of life towards the end of that half and will be looking to ramp up the pressure on their opponents in order to get back into the game and give them a chance of progressing in this competition. The visitors will hope to stop them from doing that and put themselves in the hat for the next round as they look to win the League Cup for what will be a record ninth time.
Liverpool dominated the game for large periods but are perhaps lucky to be heading into the break still in front as Kelleher was forced to save a Tzolis penalty after Giannoulis was brought down by Bradley. The penalty was low and hard but the Irish keeper made a good save to preserve his team's advantage. The Reds should have perhaps been further in front with Jones and Konate going close, but they will be happy to go into the break with a 1-0 lead.

HALF TIME: NORWICH 0-1 LIVERPOOL.
45' + 2'
Both sides have showed some attacking promise in the two minutes of additional time but neither have been able to create a real chance.
There will be two minutes of additional time.
Jones goes straight down the other end but his curled effort goes just over.
Kelleher chose to dive right and the ball pinged off his legs and back into the box where his defence were able to clear their lines.
It's saved! Tzolis's penalty is low and hard but Kelleher saves with his feet and the visitors survive, even after the ball scrambles around in the box.
Penalty to Norwich! Tzolis fires a shot at goal and Kelleher can only parry it to his right, where Bradley bundles over Giannoulis.
Keita plays a cross into Origi, but he is adjudged to have fouled in the build-up.
Kelleher is forced to come out and head the ball away twice within a 30 second period as Norwich try to play long balls behind the visitors' defence.
The ball comes to Origi in the box and tries to get a shot away but the defence does just enough to take the sting out of the effort and Gunn collects.
Tsimikas has been one of the Red's best players so far this evening. This time he plays a sweeping cross-field ball to Bradley but the attack peters out.
Omobamidele puts in a crucial sliding tackle in the box as Tsimikas was played in down the left. It results in a corner but there's an infringement as the ball comes in and the Canaries have a free-kick.
Idah chases after a ball over the top but is outmuscled by Gomez. He then gets the ball in the box after a clever flick by Tzolis but his low shot is straight at Kelleher.
Oxlade-Chamberlain goes down with a head injury after a clash in midfield, however he looks okay to continue.
The hosts have just started to come back into the game a bit and are putting on a bit of pressure. Idah wins the ball high but his cross is too deep for Tzolis, who seconds later sends a header over from a Gilmour cross.
Tzolis has the ball back in a similar position again but his cross is poor and goes into the side netting.
Giannoulis plays in Tzolis down the left but he looks in two minds and opts to shoot instead of crossing. Kelleher catches the tame effort.
Liverpool's high press up the pitch has caught Norwich a couple of times. This time it's Gordon who wins the ball back but he can't make anything happen and Farke's men have the ball back.
Again, Norwich don't look comfortable with dealing with the cross and the ball threatens and bounces in the area but luckily for them it squirms away from danger.
Origi looks offside as the ball is played into him but play continues, resulting in a deep Tsimikas cross that goes all the way through to Bradley, where the 18-year-old wins another corner.
As it stands, this will be the Canaries' first defeat in their last eight home matches in this competition.
The hosts have a free-kick in a dangerous position as Tzolis is brought down by Gomez around 25 yards out. Gilmour takes it but it flies over as he tried to curl it to the right of Kelleher's goal.
It's again good work by Minamino and his delivery is just too high for 16-year-old Gordon at the back post.
Gunn safely collects a curving cross from Bradley as Origi lurked around him in case of any fumble by the keeper.
The visitors have yet another corner, and again it's threatening! Konate this time gets his head on the ball in and his bullet header goes just over.
Rupp's clipped ball through can't be brought down by Tzolis and it goes out for a goal-kick.
So far, this is more of the same for the Canaries when it comes to playing today's opponents. They haven't won in the last 15 meetings between the two sides, losing 13 of those matches.
Klopp's men come forward again and win a throw-in high up the pitch. However, nothing comes of it.
It could've been 1-1 almost instantly! Idah just can't get a toe on a low cross and it skims out for a goal-kick.
It was Origi who won the header from the floated Tsimikas corner to set up Minamino to finish.
And it's 1-0! Minamino puts the Reds ahead as Origi wins the header from Tsimikas' corner and it falls to the Japanese winger who duly smashes it through the keeper Gunn's legs.
Origi wins another corner as his cross is deflected behind.
The visitors have an early corner as Hanley heads a teasing lofted through ball over. It's dealt with by Norwich and they themselves win a free-kick in the middle of the field.
Norwich kick-off and we are underway.
The two sides are making their way onto the Carrow Road pitch and kick-off will shortly be upon us.
