Brighton are next in Premier League action against Manchester City on the road on Saturday. Forest take on Liverpool at home on the same day.
Brighton and Hove Albion are held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest in their Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium. The Seagulls had a host of chances in the first half, but were unable to find the back of the net. Leandro Trossard struck the bar, while Pascal Gross saw a tame effort saved by Dean Henderson. Gross missed another good opportunity in the second half as the home side lacked a clinical edge to claim the three points. Forest barely threatened, but will be pleased to leave the south coast with a valuable point.
90' + 3' Undav makes a good run into the box, but he gets crowded out before he can pull the trigger from the inside-left channel.
90' + 1' CLOSE! Biancone raids down the right flank and delivers a low cross into the middle. Dunk slides to divert it away from goal, but his clearance slams straight into Awoniyi and travels just wide of the right post.
90' There will be five minutes of added time.

81' CHANCE! Gross has to score! He latches on to a glancing header from Welbeck after Lamptey found space to dig out a cross from the right flank. The German has space and time to find the net, but he slices his effort into the ground and allows Henderson to push it away.
79' OVER! Gibbs-White floats a dangerous cross into the box for McKenna to attack at the back post, but his headed effort floats over the bar.
A. Mac Allister
Yellow Card
Brighton & Hove Albion
78' Mac Allister catches Yates with a trailing boot after a 50/50 challenge and goes into the book.
76' Cook has been excellent tonight for the visitors and he continues his fine outing by putting his body on the line to deny Webster there. Fortunately for Cooper, he's okay to continue.
75' Gross swings a cross into the box for Webster to attack, but he cannot make clean contact amid the presence of Cook. The Forest defender remains down after the fact.
74' Freuler brings down March on the right flank that hands a free-kick in a threatening position to the Seagulls.

Yellow Card
Brighton & Hove Albion
54' Caicedo catches Yates with a high boot, and goes into the book. The Forest skipper remains down.

48' SAVE! March swings a corner into the box from the right flank that Welbeck meets on the volley, but Henderson is alert to push his effort wide of the target.
47' March works Mac Allister into space, but Gibbs-White deflects the strike from the midfielder behind for a corner.
46' We're back under way at the Amex Stadium.
Steve Cooper's men need to be more proactive in the second half. They sat back and offered nothing in the final third themselves. Forest were at the mercy of Brighton's finishing and might not be so lucky in the second half if they maintain the same approach.
It is goalless at the break between Brighton and Nottingham Forest at the Amex Stadium. The home side have had a number of chances, but have not been able to break the deadlock. Leandro Trossard came closest when he struck the bar, while Pascal Gross should have done better with a close-range effort. Adam Webster and Joel Veltman have also fired efforts over the bar. It has been all Brighton, they just require a clinical edge in the second half.
45' There will be one minute of added time.
45' OVER! Brighton spurn another chance as Webster fires over the bar. March sends Gross down the right flank and his cutback travels to the penalty spot. Webster meets it on the slide, only for the defender to smash his effort over.
43' BLOCK! March raids down the right flank and digs out a cross to the back post. Trossard collects and shoots on the turn, but Aurier charges down his strike and the ball deflects back off the Belgian for a goal-kick.

39' Forest have offered next to nothing in the Brighton half. Johnson applies pressure on Veltman that earns the applause of the away end. They've not had much to cheer.
37' Brighton are starting to create chances, but it has been the story of their Premier League tenure that they're lacking a clinical edge in the final third.
36' CHANCES! Trossard breaks down the left flank and supplies a cutback for Gross. He shoots low and hard at goal, but his effort is straight at Henderson, who parries it out. Welbeck tries to pounce on the rebound only to see his effort smothered by the Forest keeper.

33' WIDE! Trossard cuts open the Forest defence with a great cross into the box on his left foot. Lallana rises to make contact, but his glancing header travels wide.
32' OFF THE BAR! Trossard comes inches away from breaking the deadlock. Welbeck runs to the edge of the penalty before lining up a blast. His effort is charged down, but Trossard collects within range. The Belgian shoots on the half-volley and he beats the hand of Henderson, only to see his effort smash off the bar and travel over.
29' CHANCE! Gross whips a corner into the box that is partially cleared. Lallana works the ball towards Veltman, who shoots on the turn, only to launch his right-footed strike over the bar.
28' March whips the ball into a dangerous area, but Mangala has time to sweep it behind. Brighton's players were positioned in different sections of the penalty area well spaced apart, so, it was quite clearly a training ground move that did not quite work.
27' Aurier handles the ball after being caught out by a flick from Trossard. March will whip the resulting cross into the box from the left flank.
25' Johnson and Dunk battle for possession after the Brighton defender loses control of the ball. The Forest forward tries to bundle him off it, but fouls Dunk in the process.
23' The Seagulls maintain their high press and almost force a mistake out of Mangala, but he completes an offload to Aurier just in time.
21' Both sides are struggling for quality on the ball. Brighton are not doing a great deal to force the issue as of yet.
19' March surges down the right flank and tries to look for Gross with a cutback, but he loses out to Williams before he release the ball.
17' Freuler wins possession high up the pitch and tries to feed a pass inside to Lingard. Dunk reacts by sticking out a boot and the ball deflects into the arms of Sanchez. It ends the Forest attack, but that was much better from the visitors.
17' Brighton's Solly March (21) and Danny Welbeck (19) have had the most attempts on goal in the Premier League this season without scoring.
15' Gibbs-White tries to ease the pressure on the Forest defence with a forward run, but Trossard and Mac Allister track back and dispossess the forward.
13' SAVE! Henderson turns Trossard's effort over the bar. March causes problems down the right again and his cross finds Trossard on the edge of the box. The Belgian cuts inside to shoot on his right foot, but Henderson is alert to turn his attempt over.
12' March cuts a dangerous ball back to the edge of the box for Caicedo. However, the midfielder takes a loose first touch and allows Freuler to make the interception.

9' The Seagulls apply a high press on the Forest backline and it draws a mistake from Henderson, who can only put his clearance behind for a Brighton corner.
7' Trossard twists and turns to open up space for a cross from the left flank. McKenna is well positioned in the box and heads clear for the visitors.
5' Trossard puts the resulting corner right under Henderson's crossbar, but the Forest keeper does well to clear the danger with a punch.
4' Brighton keep the pressure on the visitors as Trossard probes down the left flank and wins a corner off the legs of Gibbs-White.
3' Mac Allister floats a dangerous ball over the top for the run of Welbeck in the box, but McKenna heads it behind for a corner.
1' We're under way at the Amex Stadium.

Forest have made three changes to their side from their defeat to Wolves in their last outing. Lingard slots into the final third in place of Dennis, who drops to the bench. Toffolo makes way for Aurier at left-back, while Kouyate drops to the bench as Mangala returns in the middle of the park.

Steve Cooper's men suffered yet another loss at the hands of Wolves last time out, making it six defeats out of their last seven matches. It is not panic stations yet for the Midlands outfit, but they will not want to see the gap from 18th place extend beyond the current four points. The onus is on them to pick up a positive result at the Amex.
Brighton are looking to bounce back tonight after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Brentford in their last outing. Roberto De Zerbi is searching for his first win as Brighton manager since replacing Graham Potter in December. The Seagulls are still in a strong position in the Premier League and can move above Manchester United into fifth place with a win over Forest.
