Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
Barcelona, who remain on course to lift the Copa del Rey for a fifth season running, now switch focus to Sunday's home league match against Leganes. Levante have three days to pick themselves back up from this comprehensive defeat, meanwhile, as they host Real Valladolid at the weekend.
Two first-half goals from Dembele and one in the second half from Messi helps Barcelona overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit to progress through 4-2 winners on aggregate. The home side could have won by more goals in the end, with Dembele coming close to completing his hat-trick and Fernandez also producing a smart save to keep out Luis Suarez. Levante offered little in an attacking sense all match, coming closest to a breakthrough goal late on when Boateng hit the post.
90' + 4' FULL-TIME: BARCELONA 3-0 LEVANTE
Rober
Yellow Card
Levante
90' + 2' Pier blatantly grabs hold of Messi and is shown a yellow card with just 60 seconds to go.
90' + 2' OFF THE POST! Boateng peels away from his marker at the back post, but he can only steer Doukoure's teasing cross against the upright when at full stretch. That was Levante's best - and pretty much only - chance of the match.
90' Barcelona are three minutes away from another quarter-final appearance in the Copa del Rey. Denis Suarez looked to be through on goal, but the offside flag had already gone up.
88' One to forget for Denis Suarez, as he fails to make contact with his volley. Levante are standing firm in these closing stages, but it matters little - they need a couple of goals of their own.
86' Valverde's side have moved back through the gears over the past couple of minutes. Luis Suarez fires a shot towards goal from 10 yards, but it hits an opponent clean in the face before Fernandez can even think about making the save.
S. Prcić
Yellow Card
Levante
84' Prcic fouls Murillo and is the latest player to enter the referee's notebook.
83' Barca are happy to take the sting out of the match, knocking the ball around without forcing the final pass. Levante have enjoyed more of the ball than they did in the first half, but they have had just one shot on target all game - that is not good enough.
81' Murillo trips Bardhi a couple of yards outside his own box and the Macedonia winger takes on the free-kick himself, disappointingly hitting the top of the wall and failing to find a way through from the follow-up.
79' Cillessen, who has had very little to do in this second leg, does well to get his hands on Cabaco's flicked header. A Levante goal now would set up an interesting final 10 minutes at Camp Nou.
Denis Suárez
O. Dembélé
Barcelona
77' Levante are perhaps fortunate to still have 11 men on the field following that reckless Cabaco challenge on Dembele. The two-goal forward makes way for Denis Suarez, who is a rumoured transfer target for Arsenal.
76' CHEEKY ATTEMPT! Luis Suarez tries to lob Fernandez, despite having little room to work with and the angle being somewhat against him. The Levante keeper backpedals and tips the ball over the crossbar.
E. Cabaco
Yellow Card
Levante
75' Cabaco is the fourth player to be cautioned, with this latest yellow being shown for a poor challenge on Dembele - that could easily have been a red.
Sergi Roberto
Jordi Alba
Barcelona
73' Barcelona are simply going through the motions now, not looking like scoring but neither do they look like conceding. Alba is replaced by Roberto for the final quarter of the contest.
72' NEARLY A HAT-TRICK! Dembele profits from yet more good work from Messi by getting a clean shot in from 15 yards, which flies wide of the far post. Good attempt from the Frenchman, who already has two goals to his name today.
Jason
Sergio Postigo
Levante
71' Postigo goes to ground with an injury and is replaced less than a minute later by Jason. That is now all three changes made by the visitors.
70' BETTER FROM LEVANTE! Boateng finally manages to put his pace to good use by getting away from Lenglet once cutting in from the right, but his shot at the end of the attack is pretty weak, failing to find Ter Stegen's target.
C. Doukouré
Campaña
Levante
68' Levante's second substitution sees Doukoure come on for Campana in a like-for-like change in central midfield.
67' Levante have enjoyed their best spell of possession over the past couple of minutes, but there is no way through. Barca had 72 per cent of the ball in the first half but that has now dropped to 65 per cent.
65' The pace of the game has dropped, with Barcelona no longer having to go all out to find the net. Levante are plugging away but they have been unable to create anything of note all match.
L. Suárez
Philippe Coutinho
Barcelona
63' If Levante's task was not already hard enough, Valverde has brought on Luis Suarez for the remaining 27 minutes. Coutinho will be disappointed that he did not find the net as he makes his way off the field.
63' SAVE! Messi is once again pulling all the strings for Barcelona. Coutinho sets himself for the shot after being spotted inside the box by his team-mate, but his low curler is pretty simple for Fernandez to deal with.
R. Dwamena
Borja Mayoral
Levante
61' Here comes that first Levante change of the match, with Dwamena replacing Moya. The Madrid loanee is jeered as he leaves the field.
60' Levante require a couple of goals but Lopez is holding off from making any alterations for the time being. That may change in the next two or three minutes as some players have been sent to warm up.
58' The home side have taken their foot off the gas a little since adding a third goal to their tally. It is surely job done for Valverde's side, having taken Levante apart time and time again.
56' Barcelona now have some breathing space for the first time in this two-legged tie. Levante have offered next to nothing today and are heading for the exit at the last-16 stage, unless they can come up with something special.
Nélson Semedo
Assist
Barcelona
54' Semedo did well to get in behind down the right and take Dembele's pass in his stride, before looking up to spot the run of Messi.
L. Messi
Goal
Barcelona
54' GOOOAAALLL!!! BARCELONA 3-0 LEVANTE! There is no denying Messi this time! It is a well-worked third goal for the hosts, as Dembele picks out the run of Semedo, who in turn squares it to Messi to delicately flick the ball past Fernandez. The club-record goalscorer shows great balance and the finish is as clinical as ever.
53' Dembele goes down inside the box but the contact - if any - was too minimal for the referee to award a penalty. Moments later, Arthur guides the ball high and wide from range.
51' GOAL DISALLOWED! Coutinho latches onto Messi's throughball and calmly tucks the ball past Fernandez, but the offside flag goes up as soon as the ball hits the back of the net and the goal is correctly ruled out. Coutinho knew he was in an offside position.
50' The fact that his side only lead by one goal on aggregate may be a concern for Ernesto Valverde, having seen his side rack up 10 shots on target. All those attempts came in the opening 45 minutes, with the second half yet to take off.
48' Barcleona had 16 shots in the first half - more than they have managed in the opening 45 minutes of any match in all competitons since at least 2013-2014 season.
46' Levante, who are heading out as things stand, get us back underway at Camp Nou!
The visitors frustrated their opponents for the opening quarter of the game, but Barca's pressure became relentless and in the end it told. Levante can no longer sit back as they require a goal, so Paco Lopez may well turn to his bench for the start of the second half.
Barcelona take a 2-0 lead into half-time of this second leg thanks to a couple of goals from Dembele, both assisted by Messi. The home side, who trailed 2-1 heading into this return fixture at Camp Nou, found the net twice in the space of a minute to turn the contest on its head. Chances for Messi, Vidal and Dembele went begging either side of the Frenchman's brace, meaning that it is not quite game over just yet.
45' + 2' HALF-TIME: BARCELONA 2-0 LEVANTE
45' + 1' Barcelona fail to deal with the free-kick delivery and Postigo gets a shot away, which is blocked in front of goal. Fortune is on the hosts' side in this first half.
J. Murillo
Yellow Card
Barcelona
45' + 1' Boateng puts his pace to good use, but Murillo brings him down to halt the attack and earn himself a yellow card.
45' TRIPLE SAVE! Coutinho shows some brilliant footwork to get past a couple of opposition men, before being denied down low by Fernandez. Messi latches on to the rebound but is also kept out by the Levante keeper, as is Vidal from the next follow-up shot - the weakest of the three efforts.
I. Rakitić
Yellow Card
Barcelona
43' Rakitic clips the heels of Mayoral and is shown the second caution of this one-sided first half.
41' CHANCE FOR THREE! Messi and Dembele have showed some great link-up play today. On this occasion, Coutinho gets a touch to Messi's attempted through-ball to play in Dembele, but the Frenchman gets his attempted chip horribly wrong, missing the target completely with just Fernandez to beat.
39' It has been pretty much all Barcelona in this first half and they have a two-goal lead to show for it. Levante planned to sit back on their 2-1 lead from the first leg, but that gameplan has clearly gone out of the window. The visitors could do with half-time so that they can regroup.
37' MESSI DENIED! Messi is unable to put the game out of Levante's reach, as his one-on-one is blocked by the legs of Fernandez. Messi so often converts from this position, so credit to Fernandez for narrowing the target and keeping it out.
35' With 10 minutes to go until half-time, Barcelona hold a 3-2 advantage on aggregate. Levante are now finally starting to offer a little more in an attacking sense, with Cillessen getting his shirt dirty to keep out Campana's drive.
Sergio Postigo
Yellow Card
Levante
33' Postigo is cautioned for fouling Messi. Levante have collapsed over the last few minutes.
L. Messi
Assist
Barcelona
31' Messi kept the ball close to his feet before slipping it through for Dembele, who held his run well to stay onside. It was then left to the Frenchman to do the rest.
O. Dembélé
Goal
Barcelona
31' GOOOOAAALLL!!! BARCELONA 2-0 LEVANTE! Just like that, Barca have an aggregate lead. Just like the first goal, Dembele converts following some good build-up play from Messi, with the Frenchman rounding Fernandez and scuffing a shot into the ground. The ball may well be spinning wide of goal, but a touch off Fernandez helps it over the line.
O. Dembélé
Goal
Barcelona
30' GOOOOAAALLLL!!! BARCELONA 1-0 LEVANTE! Dembele opens the scoring in bizarre circumstances at Camp Nou to wipe out Levante's first-leg advantage. The France forward gets a huge slice of luck after taking Messi's pass in his path, as Postigo's attempted clearance hits his leg and deflects over Fernandez.
28' It's Arthur's turn to get a shot away, sending the ball over the crossbar from 20 yards. Levante are holding on for now, but this Barca pressure is pretty relentless.
27' BARCELONA KNOCKING ON THE DOOR! Messi chips the ball towards the edge of the six-yard box, where Vidal is waiting to meet the cross. The Chile midfielder heads the ball into the ground, however, and it bounces up over the crossbar.
25' CLOSE! Messi's first touch sets him perfectly to race through on goal, but the angle is against him slightly and his low shot hits the leg of Fernandez and goes out for a corner. Murillo heads over from the set-piece.
23' ANOTHER SAVE! Fernandez is starting to be worked a little more now, as he gets behind Vidal's shot from outside the box. It is a simple enough stop, in fairness, but Barca are at least starting to turn the screw a little.
21' Barcelona are still dictating the tempo of the game through their midfield three, but it is turning out to be a frustrating match. Can Messi work his magic in the remaining three quarters of the contest?
19' Barcelona have won the Copa del Rey a record 30 times, whereas Levante have never previously gone all the way. In fact, they have not been past the quarter-finals since 1935.
17' SHOT! Barcelona are starting to increase the pressure on Levante. Arthur plays a simple pass to Coutinho and the former Liverpool man fires over the crossbar from 20 yards.
16' SAVE! The first save of the match is made by Fernandez, who gets across to push aside Messi's free-kick from a little over 25 yards out. Messi gets the ball around the wall, but Fernandez watched it all the way and is able to keep it out.
15' A 1-0 win will be good enough to take Barcelona through today thanks to their away goal from last week. The hosts have had to be patient so far, having dominated possession without really creating anything. Messi tries to charge through the middle but is halted in his tracks by Cabaco.
14' Barcelona switch the ball well from right to left, but the move comes to an end when - and I had to double check this - Messi gave possession away. The Argentina forward tried to slot the ball through but it was easily cut out.
12' Both teams have been guilty of giving the ball away far too easily over the past couple of minutes. The match has become sloppy, which will no doubt suit Levante more so than their opponents.
10' Dembele picks out the run of Alba in behind with a Messi-esque pass over the top, but the full-back is unable to keep it in play at full stretch.
9' So far, so good for the visitors - they still hold a one-goal advantage from last week's first leg. Barcelona have enjoyed more than 80 per cent possession in the opening nine minutes, but Coutinho's blocked shot is the closest they have come to a breakthrough.
7' Dembele takes the ball from Simon out wide and seconds later Coutinho is picked out in space. The Brazilian cuts inside and attempts to curl the ball into the far corner in trademark style, but it is blocked in front of goal.
5' Some good pressing from the visitors forces Barcelona to go all the way back to Cillessen. Plenty of positive play from Barca but they have been unable to find a way in behind so far.
3' Camp Nou is far from full for this last-16 tie, despite the magnitude of the match. Barcelona, as expected, have seen plenty of the ball in the early stages of the contest.
1' Copa del Rey holders Barcelona get us underway at Camp Nou!
The two teams are now out on the field at Camp Nou and we are moments away from kick-off. It is worth pointing out ahead of this second leg getting underway that Levante president Quico Catalan has today confirmed his side will make an official complaint to the Spanish Football Federation over irregularities in Barcelona's starting line-up last week, as youngster Chumi played nearly an hour, despite being suspended after picking up a fifth booking in the Segunda Division B.
Barcelona have lost just one of their last 11 matches - the 2-1 reverse to Levante - and have won eight of those, including victory over Cultural Leonesa in the last round of this competition. Today’s visitors to Camp Nou have won just one of their last six, meanwhile, most recently losing 2-1 to Atletico in the league four days ago.
Fernandez started in goal for Levante in the first leg and he is back between the sticks today after being left out for the defeat to Atletico Madrid last weekend, taking over from Oier Olazabal. Cabaco is used in a three-man backline due to the month-long absence of Chema, and there is also room in the starting line-up for Coke and Boateng, having both been benched at the Wanda Metropolitano. Elsewhere, Real Madrid loanee Mayoral is restored to the XI following his 20-minute appearance from the bench last time out.
Barcelona show five changes from their 3-0 win over Eibar last weekend, including a change in goal as Cillessen takes over from Ter Stegen. Semedo replaces Roberto at left-back and January recruit Murillo is in for Pique at centre-back, meanwhile, and there are also starts for Vidal and Dembele, with Busquets and Luis Suarez dropping to the bench. Messi was left out for the first leg last week, but the superstar forward was always expected to be included from the off today as his side need to overturn a one-goal deficit.
Levante subs: Jason, Raphael Dwamena, Tono, Pedro Lopez, Jose Luis Morales, Koke, Cheick Doukoure
LEVANTE XI (3-4-3): Aitor Fernandez; Rober Pier, Sergio Postigo, Erick Cabaco; Coke (c), Jose Campana, Sanjin Prcic, Moses Simon; Borja Mayoral, Enis Bardhi, Emmanuel Boateng
Barcelona subs: Gerard Pique, Luis Suarez, Sergi Roberto, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Denis Suarez, Carles Alena, Sergio Busquets
BARCELONA XI (4-3-3): Jasper Cillessen; Nelson Semedo, Jeison Murillo, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba; Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Arturo Vidal; Ousmane Dembele, Lionel Messi (c), Philippe Coutinho
Barcelona have work to do if they are to remain on course for a fifth successive triumph in this competition, having suffered a 2-1 loss to Levante in last week’s reverse fixture at Ciutat de Valencia. Goals from Erick Cabaco and Borja Mayoral gave the hosts a two-goal lead inside the opening quarter of the game, but a Philippe Coutinho penalty five minutes from time has changed the complexity of the tie.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Copa del Rey last-16 second leg between Barcelona and Levante at Camp Nou.
