    Who will carry the day?

Liverpool and Real Madrid will face off in the Champions League final at Stade de France on Saturday.

The Reds reached the final after a 5-2 aggregate win against Villarreal in the semi-finals while Los Blancos booked their final spot with a 6-5 aggregate win against Manchester City.

Liverpool will head into the fixture looking to earn revenge having lost to the same side 3-1 in the 2018 final in Kyiv. It was Karim Benzema, who scored the opener for Madrid before Senegal international Sadio Mane levelled matters for Liverpool.

However, Gareth Bale produced an unbelievable bicycle kick to make it 2-1 before the Welshman completed his brace just minutes later, smashing one in from outside the box to clinch the 3-1 victory.

Below, journalists across the region give their views to GOAL on which team they think will carry the day in Paris.

I fancy Liverpool to win the crown this time around. The Merseyside club have had an impressive campaign, winning the FA and Carabao Cups and narrowly missing out on the league title.

I expect Jurgen Klopp’s side to crown the season by lifting the Champions League trophy.

On their day, Liverpool are the best club in the world. There will be some revenge of sorts as Real Madrid defeated Liverpool a few seasons back which is remembered for Sergio Ramos injuring Salah. Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is also a former Everton coach and that should spice up this tie.

Finally, I have a soft spot for Divock Origi and this will be an opportunity for the boy with Kenyan roots to sign off in style [if he gets time to play].

It is revenge time for Liverpool and they smell blood against a Read Madrid side that inflicted pain on them in the 2018 final.

The record European champions haven’t been at their best this season and probably this is the perfect opportunity for Klopp to get his second European Cup.

Liverpool will win this one comfortably.

After seeing their hope of a quadruple go up in smoke when Manchester City retained the Premier League title on the final day of the season, and for the love of Sadio Mane, I would love to see Liverpool beat Real Madrid.

I can confess it will be a tough final for both sides, but I have a feeling Liverpool will have the edge considering their performances in recent weeks.

It is going to be a tough game, Liverpool have enjoyed a good season and it is the same case for Madrid as they recently finished the season with the La Liga title.

Being a final, I expect a closely fought battle, I know Liverpool will push hard because they have good wingers but Madrid can also hurt if not taken care of.

I predict the game will go into extra-time, then proceed to penalties; and my take is on the Spanish champions to carry the day.

Liverpool will be on a revenge mission, they lost to Real Madrid in the 2018 final and have a score to settle in Paris.

With Egypt international Salah already warning Los Blancos ahead of the final, it means the Reds will be ready to give their all and I know they are hurting having missed out on the Premier League title on the final day of the season.

I have a feeling it will be Liverpool’s day but on penalties.

I have watched Real Madrid throughout this season but I don’t think they are better than Liverpool. I know they won La Liga and reached the final of the Champions League but they are not as good as people may take them to be.

They won most of their matches through luck and they miss the fighting spirit, we have seen in Liverpool throughout this season. I don’t want to say they cannot beat Liverpool, but I think Liverpool will beat them on Saturday.
