After being overlooked on several occasions by coach Sebastien Migne, Omollo was handed the chance and ended up proving&nbsp;his doubters wrong with a commanding display especially in the matches against Tanzania and Senegal. The Belgium-based midfielder scored a vital second goal for Kenya against the Taifa Stars in a 3-2 win and was one of the most consistent players in the squad at the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Johanna Omollo

The youngster never ceases to amaze! Give him a lemon and he will make lemonade for you as witnessed in the Harambee Stars' last two matches. He is gifted and a naturally hard worker regardless of the position he is playing. Ouma was in good shape and did most of the donkey work from the left wing as Kenya tried to break down teams in the competition. He&nbsp;deserves a permanent place in the Kenyan squad for future assignments.

Eric Ouma

On most occasions, he was isolated and left to work on his own after coach Sebastien Migne opted to use a lone striker at the tournament. The tactics&nbsp;proved difficult for the Kashiwa Reysol striker but he did his best and scored two beautiful goals for Harambee Stars in the 3-2 win against rivals Tanzania in the East African derby, a result that gave the country hopes of making it past Group stages for the first time in history.
