Watford starlet Carl Stewart has agreed a deal to join Udinese, Goal understands.
Recognised as one of the brightest talents currently in the Hornets' youth system, he has been given the chance to join the Serie A club and accepted.
The move is made somewhat more straightforward as Udinese and Watford have a now long history of exchanging players, given that they are both owned by the Pozzo family, along with Spanish side Granada.
This is the first time, though, that English talent has moved from Watford to Udinese.
The 17-year-old midfielder has agreed a long-term deal with the Italian club, who are currently coached by ex-Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni.
