Zahera pleased with Yanga training

Zahera is set to be announced as George Lwandamina’s successor

Yanga new Head Coach, Mwinyi Zahera has revealed his pleasure with Yanga's spirit in training ahead of their big clash with Simba on Sunday.

Zahera who is set to be announced as George Lwandamina’s successor attended the team's camp in Morogoro where he met with caretaker coaches Noel Mwandila and Shadrack Nsajigwa alongside the  players.

He is unlikely to be on the bench in the coming match against Simba but he will be ready to take over in time to face U.S.M Alger in the CAF Confederation Cup tie.

Speaking to Goal, Zahera said that the spirit of the players in the training is very high and they showed that they want to do something in the match.

“I attended the training and I saw for myself how the team is preparing for the match, the spirit is very high and it shows that they want to achieve something during the match,” said Zahera.

The former DR Congo assistant coach added that, the match will be important for both sides so the preparations must be in high standard.
