And manager Paul Clement is delighted with the contract renewal of the Ivorian forward who brings versatility to his squad.

“Yakou is a strong, powerful, versatile, attack-minded player who has demonstrated he is capable of playing in a number of different positions on the pitch,” Clement told club website.

“At 22 years of age, he is a player who I believe will continue to improve and I am very pleased he has committed to a new contract at the club.”
