Elvis Nandwa has called on his colleagues not to lose sight of the title even as the team prepares to sit out of Kenyan Premier League action this weekend.

The Soldiers’ fixtures against Gor Mahia, was shelved by KPL to pave way for the Sunday’s clash between K’Ogalo and Hull City.

This means that coach Dunstan Nyaudo will have to wait until May 20th to take on Wazito in his 15th round of matches.

Nandwa, who has scored thrice this season, challenged his compatriots to maintain focus.

“The most important thing at the moment is to work and see the team doing well because we have ambitions we have set as a team. I have three goals so far and I am happy that they have played a role in the team’s rise.

“When we are getting positive results like we are doing, it is very crucial that we keep our concentration at the highest. In football, it is always about the next match and we want to get there fully prepared,” Nandwa was quoted by the club website.

Ulinzi Stars are second on the log with 25 points, five below leaders Gor Mahia.
