Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso has hailed his charges for their exemplary performance on Saturday.

The three times champions won 2-1 against a determined Nakumatt FC, who were let down by defensive lapse late into the match. The tactician believes it was team work that won at the end though he feels the soldiers could have scored more.

"I am happy with the three points won, it was not easy at all, we had to work hard for them but at long last we managed. The good thing we did was to press them even when we conceded and we were rewarded with a winner. In games like this you have to have character, otherwise you might end up dropping points.

"The display by the team was good, but I am a little disappointed with the chances we did not take, it could have been more," Nyangweso told Goal.
