Umaru Kasumba and Ezekiel Okare were on target as Batoto Ba Mungu edged out Tusker 2-1 showdown on Sunday

Sofapaka FC coach John Baraza has now turned his attention on claiming the 2018 FKF Shield title and a right to represent the nation in Caf Confederation Cup next year.

Umaru Kasumba and Ezekiel Okare were on target as Batoto Ba Mungu edged out Tusker 2-1 showdown on Sunday to book a date with AFC Leopards in the semis.

Baraza is happy with the way his team played and is now targeting the defending champions. "We started well, were unlucky to concede that goal which came as a result of the defensive mix-up, but the way we responded was encouraging.

“We managed to get the winner and held them to the last whistle, and that is what helped us get the much-deserved win. Leopards is a good team, they are the defending champions meaning it will not be an easy match, but we will give our best," Baraza told Goal.

Another semi-final will be between Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks.
