Sofapaka coach John Baraza is facing a selection headache ahead of the crunch game with Mathare United on Sunday.

Batoto Ba Mungu, second on the table, will host third-placed Mathare United at Narok Stadium Unlike the 'Slum Boys', who have a few players nursing slight knocks, the hosts have a fully fit squad after slight adjustments to different departments in the June transfer window.

Sofapaka knows just how important this fixture is to them having lost the opening leg 3-1. Apart from being presented with another chance to pay back the debt of the defeat, Baraza will also be hoping to cut the 15-point lead of Gor Mahia at the top of the table but picking maximum points.

“I have to admit that I have a headache because everyone is giving his best in training and they are all hungry for victory.

"It is a good thing for the team and I’m sure it is positive for us,” Baraza told the club website.

Baraza will have to pick at most three players from the pool that have Stephen Waruru, Kepha Aswani, Pistone Mutamba and Ezekiel Okare for his attack.

The goalkeeping department is equally competitive with the former Kenyan international having Wycliffe Kasaya, who is yet to concede a goal in Sofapaka jersey this season as well as skipper Mathew Kigonya for starting place.

Kasaya would want to have the chance to face his former side having joined Sofapaka in June.
