Seuntjens hat-trick ends Oliseh’s Fortuna Sittard unbeaten run

VVV Venlo defeated Fortuna Sittard 4-1 to bring Sunday Oliseh 's side’s unbeaten run to an end in the Dutch's Eerste Divisie at the De Koel Stadium on Friday.
Rauf Seuntjens’ hat-trick plus Vito Van Crooy’s strike overcame 10-man Fortuna as Emrah Bassan could only manage a consolation for his team.
Bassan struck eight minutes later to cancel Seuntjens’ opener for the league leaders. But the visitors were reduced to 10-man as Kemen Hadzhiev got sent off moments after Crooy made it 2-1 for Venlo.

In the second half, the Dutchman netted twice in the opening 15 minutes to ensured Maurice Steijn’s open nine points gap on top of the log.
The defeat means Fortuna’s run of seven games without a defeat came to an end against Venlo. They will face NAC Breda in the next match at Fortuna Stadium on Monday, March 13.
