Mexico vs. USA team news: Arena makes seven changes, Chicharito starts for El Tri

Bruce Arena has made seven changes for the U.S. national team's trip to face Mexico at Estadio Azteca, with El Tri counterpart Juan Carlos Osorio making four adjustments — including the introduction of star striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez.

Geoff Cameron, DeAndre Yedlin, Michael Bradley and Christian Pulisic are the only holdovers from the Americans' 2-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday, with Arena introducing a slew of new faces while using a 3-4-3 formation from the start for the first time since he returned as U.S. coach in November.

Brad Guzan steps in between the posts, with Cameron, Omar Gonzalez and Tim Ream comprising a three-man back line. Yedlin and 35-year-old veteran DaMarcus Beasley are being deployed as wing backs, with Kellyn Acosta and Bradley in central midfield. Pulisic and Paul Arriola are being deployed as dual playmakers, as Bobby Wood starts up top.
