Manyama and Mamelodi Sundowns fuel transfer talk

Cape Town City captain Lebogang Manyama fuelled talk of a possible move to Mamelodi Sundowns with his Instagram post three days ago.

However, the Tshwane giants went a step further on Saturday after noticing Manyama's post, saying 'we'll see you  soon' and therefore keeping their fans guessing on whether or not they will be making a move for the 26-year-old.

City chairman John Comitis previously revealed that he won't be entertaining offers for any of his players, especially Manyama and Aubrey Ngoma, who were reportedly approached directly by Pitso Mosimane.

But with Manyama laying his hands on two Sundowns shirts from Hlompho Kekana and Themba Zwane, something very big could be brewing in the upcoming transfer window which officially opens on the 1st of July.

Manyama finished the season as the league's top goalscorer with 13 goals in 29 appearances - an impressive return given he had to come from behind to beat Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro to the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot.

Ndoro, despite scoring 11 goals during the first half of the season, finished the 2016/17 with 12 goals.
