Mignolet has been displaced as Jurgen Klopp's first choice by Loris Karius, while the Reds have also been linked with Roma shot-stopper Alisson.

Chelsea make Emerson approach

Chelsea have made a move to sign Roma’s Emerson Palmieri in their search for a new left-back in the January transfer window, claims Gianluca Di Marzio

Materazzi not surprised by Coutinho's price

Marco Materazzi feels the huge sum Barcelona paid to sign his former Inter team-mate Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool is a simple function of the transfer market.

"Prices always depend [on] the offer and the request. If there's a team asking that much and there's another willing to pay that amount, it's not Marco Materazzi's problem," he told  Omnisport.
