Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be set to follow in Cristiano Ronaldo's footsteps by joining Juventus, reports Don Balon.

The Costa Rica international has found his first-team opportunities under serious threat following the arrival of Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea.

Should the 31-year-old emulate Ronaldo in swapping Spain for Italy, he would be up against Wojciech Szczesny for the number one jersey.

Barcelona eyeing Girona starlet Porro


Barcelona are keeping tabs on Girona youngster Pedro Porro, according to Don Balon.

The 19-year-old, who can play at either right-back or on the right wing, has made four appearances in La Liga this season and has impressed against the likes of Real Madrid, Villarreal and Celta Vigo.

Gotze urged to reunite with Klopp at Liverpool


Mario Gotze may be struggling to get back into the Borussia Dortmund team, but the midfielder would be “a good fit for Liverpool”, according to former team-mate Kevin Grosskreutz.

“Maybe it would be good for him to go abroad in the winter to find a bit more peace and bring his career back on track," said Grosskreutz.

Gerrard wants loanees on permanent deals


Steven Gerrard is keen to secure the services of four on-loan players for the long term as he looks to establish the foundations for success at Rangers.

Liverpool duo Ryan Kent and Ovie Ejaria, as well as Lassana Coulibaly and Joe Worral have impressed for the Scottish club since joining on temporary deals.

"If you’re asking me if I’d want the four of them for next year, I’d sign the four of them right now," Gerrard told the Scotsman.

Arsenal snubbed Van Dijk for £12m


Arsenal passed up the opportunity to sign Virgil van Dijk from Celtic for £12 million ($15.7m), John Collins has revealed.

The former Hoops assistant manager told beIN Sport: “Arsenal’s chief scout [Steve Rowley] thought he was too nonchalant."

Antoine Griezmann has admitted it was the hardest decision of his career to reject a summer move to Barcelona.

Spurs still keen on Grealish at £60m


Jack Grealish is to sign a new contract at Aston Villa with a £60 million ($78m) release clause, but the Express reports that Tottenham remain keen on snapping him up.

Spurs were keen to land the England U21 international before the summer deadline passed and will rekindle that interest even if fresh terms are agreed at Villa Park.

Alonso quashes Real Madrid return rumours


Marcos Alonso claims to be “happy here at Chelsea” after sparking talk of a possible return to Real Madrid.

He told Sky Sports: "I feel good. I'm enjoying the new manager, I'm enjoying my team-mates, I'm happy here at Chelsea."

Matteo Guendouzi did not expect to be on Arsenal’s books at 19 years of age, but admits that iconic figures such as Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira made him dream of one day representing the club.

Zimmerman downplays transfer talk


LAFC defender Walker Zimmerman has downplayed talk of a transfer this winter. 

Reports surfaced earlier in the week that the 25-year-old had turned down a new deal with the MLS side and wanted a move to Europe, but he says his only focus is on winning this season. 

"For me, I'm just focused on winning," Zimmerman is quoted as saying by "That's what I love. That's what I care about. Right now, I'm focused: We have five games left. Whatever I can do to help this team compete, win, have a run in the playoffs, win an MLS Cup – that's all I'm really focused on right now. The rest of the stuff will take care of itself."

Wigan interested in signing Caulker

The onetime England international, still just 26, has been without a club after leaving Dundee at the end of last season.

The Serie A side are hoping to take advantage of some friction between Sane and his manager Pep Guardiola, and could launch an audacious bid for the 22-year-old. 

City value Sane at €150 million (£135/$177m), meaning Juve may have to wait a year or two before they have the funds to meet City's asking price.

Fulham are planning an £18 million (€20m/$24m) move for Lyon forward Maxwel Cornet, claims The Sun.

The Cottagers were interested in a move for the 21-year-old in the summer, but ultimately did not make a bid.

But Cornet's starring role for Lyon against Man City in the Champions League has convinced Fulham that the striker is worth the investment. 

Son brushes aside Bayern rumours


Tottenham star Son Heung-min has insisted he is happy where he is, as rumours about interest from Bayern Munich swirl. 

The Bundesliga champions are reportedly looking to sign the Korea international, who played in Germany previously with Hamburg and Bayer Lekerkusen.

Juventus join race for Hertha star Maier


Juventus have joined the race to sign Hertha Berlin teenager Arne Maier, according to the Mirror

The 19-year-old has already been scouted by Manchester United and Arsenal, with a bidding war likely to break out in January or next summer. 

Maier has been compared to countryman Toni Kroos, and has become a regular for his team over the past two seasons.

McKennie injury not serious


An MRI revealed that Schalke midfielder Weston McKennie has only a bone bruise on his leg, reports CBS Sports.

There were major fears over the 20-year-old on Saturday, after he left the field in tears following a kick from Bayern Munich's James Rodriguez.

But it appears the U.S. international has dodged a bullet, with his injury likely to keep him out just a week or two.
