The former K'Ogalo and Ingwe defender has struggled to cope with the power men in first leg of the top league

Jackson Saleh was among nine players released by Western Stima this month after coach Henry Omino decided against extending their stay.

The former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards defender has struggled to cope with the power men, prompting the Kisumu-based side to drop him. A source from Nakumatt has revealed to Goal that the former international might join the newly promoted side. "Saleh might be joining Nakumatt this month, he has been approached already and if the talks are successful then he will be turning out for the shoppers. It is just a matter of days before the confirmation is made."

However, when reached for comment, club's Secretary General Albert Wesonga could not confirm the reports. "Well I cannot really tell whether he is joining us or not, we will have to wait but I have received no report concerning him."

Nakumatt is currently seventh on the table with 19 points after 13 matches.
