Kariobangi Sharks midfielder Shaphan Oyugi joined Gor Mahia goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch on the list of suspended players ahead of the Kenyan Premier League round of 13 matches.

Oyugi picked his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend and is set to sit out in his side’s tricky test against Posta Rangers.

Oluoch, who picked a straight red card in Gor Mahia’s 2-2 draw with Chemelil Sugar, will miss one game; against Mathare United.

The Sunday’s tie is so important, especially for Gor Mahia who needs a victory to consolidate their lead at the top.

Gor Mahia are three points above Mathare United who are second on 23 points.

The match will be staged at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
