The 26-year-old came under criticisms from the supporters when they were struggling to find a breach in the visitors' defence and wanted him substituted but the coach kept faith in him and has assured the supporters would see an improvement in subsequent games.
"I think the supporters must exercise a little patience regarding how they criticise the players. I have a plan in every game and [Frank] Sarfo Gyamfi was working to my game plan," Fabin told Otec FM.
"He was doing a job for us and we were happy with him that is why he was not substitute against Inter Allies. He will definitely improve game after game since the season just began. It takes time for some players to hit top form so they must continue to support him," he added.
Sarfo Gyamfi was named in Kotoko's 18-man squad that will play against Medeama at the T&A Park on Wednesday.
