The Ivorian side are on top of the group with four points from two games and speaking ahead of the fixture Kablan reckoned that football is not played on past results but on current form.
He noted that they are not afraid of the People’s Elephant and that they are ready to prove that at the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
“We are not afraid of Enyimba because we believe so much in ourselves and we have not come this far to be intimidated by any team including Enyimba,” Kablan who spoke through an interpreter told the media.
“We know a lot about Enyimba and I am sure they have some information about us too. We are here to enjoy our game and get a result that will still leave us as the leader of the group. We have prepared very well for this game and we expect a good result in Nigeria.
“They are a good side and we are aware they have won two titles in Africa but we are not bothered about that. We are concentrating on our game and what we can achieve at the end of the match. My players are not afraid and they are set for Enyimba.”
Kablan nonetheless saluted Enyimba for being good hosts and also for providing the means for them to train at the venue of the Wednesday tie without any hindrance.
“We are satisfied with the reception given us by Enyimba. They have been a good host to us,” he added.
“We trained once at the stadium as specified by CAF and we have been enjoying our stay here. We want to end our stay on a good note by getting a good result on Wednesday.”
