Kariobangi Sharks striker returns after failed trials Sweden

Kariobangi Sharks striker Masoud Juma is back in the country after failed trials in Sweden.

Juma, who earned his first cap for Harambee Stars during the 2-1 defeat away to Sierra Leone, left for Sweden three weeks ago to try his luck with top tier side AIK Fotboll-based in Stockholm. However, a source close to the player has confirmed to Goal that the player’s dream to play in Sweden did not materialize.

“Masoud Juma is back home. The Sweden club feels that they cannot be in a position to sign the player at this stage of the season. Their league is already half way and it will be of no use to sign him. They have promised to keep in touch with the player so the dream is not lost.”

Juma will now return to bolster Shark’s striking force as they strive to do well in the Kenyan Premier League and GOtv Shield. Sharks are riding high in the league, with their latest achievement being a 2-0 win over AFC Leopards on Saturday.
