JKT Tanzania’s Head Coach, Bakari Shime is interested in Yanga’s out of favor goalkeeper Beno Kakolanya.
The goalkeeper has not featured for Yanga this term and he is out of contract at the end of the season.
It is understood that negotiations are ongoing and it is matter of time before the deal is agreed by both sides.
The newly promoted side who were controversially knocked out of the FA cup semi-final by Singida United are keen to add experienced players in their squad to add quality ahead of their maiden season in the top flight.
Kakolanya joined Yanga two seasons ago from Tanzania Prison after winning the golden glove award that term.
He was third choice last season behind Deogratius Munish and Ally Mustaph.
Even after the departure of the duo, Kakolanya has not managed to make the starting points his after being kept out by Youthe Rostand and Ramadhan Kabwili.
