Argentine striker Jonathan Philippe appears to be edging closer to a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
The 29-year-old arrived in South Africa last week to try his luck with Amakhosi after leaving Greek side Agrotikos Asteras at the end of June.
He was left behind for the Botswana tour this past weekend, but with the team back in the country, he has been the go ahead to train with the rest of the squad.
Amakhosi have since confirmed that Philippe is undergoing a medical and assessment.

Philippe is highly rated, but he's relatively unknown to the majority of South African football fans.
He scored eight goals in 31 appearances for Asteras, and should the technical team decides to offer him a contract, Philippe will be expected to score goals for the Soweto giants.
Steve Komphela is looking for a quality striker to help both Bernard Parker and Gustavo Paez in the new season, having already released Lewis Macha, Camaldine Abraw and Siphelele Mthembu at the end of last season.
