Makinwa pleased with ABS draw at Katsina United

ABS head coach Henry Makinwa is pleased with the boost in their relegation battle after securing a 2-2 draw against Katsina United at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium.

Goals from Martins Ossy and Akinbo Oluwasegun ensured the Saraki Boys secured a draw coming from behind twice to cancel strikes from Destiny Ashadi and Joseph Adah on Sunday.

And the gaffer praised side's resilience but admitted the home side was better and more organized team on the day and further appeals for more fans' support in Ilorin.

"It was a very tough match and well contested by both teams technically, tactically from the two sides," Makinwa told Goal.

"The home team was fantastic! They were tactically sound, more matured than us but we fought hard to get something here. I'm not surprised we had a draw today but it's a very good and an important point for us.

"I told them last week that we have found the missing link in the team. We can beat anybody anywhere but it depends on the opponents. They were tactically sound, well structured.

"It was not easy, that is what we want to see in the NPFL. You can see four goals in one match and teams can score anywhere.

"They should have more faith in us. They should support us more. You can see a wonderful crowd supporting their own team. This is what we need at home. I want them to please come out and support us. It is possible."
