The Croats fought back from a goal deficit to seal their maiden spot at the final of the global tournament

Croatia defeated England 2-1 on Wednesday evening to book their spot in the final of the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

Mario Mandzukic's 109th minute strike fired Zlatko Dalic's side to the final stage of the tournament after Ivan Perisic cancelled Kierran Trippier's first-half strike for Gareth Southgate's men.

Croatia began their World Cup campaign with a 2-0 win over the Super Eagles on June 16 and Nigerians are impressed by their group opponents' progress to the final.
