Substitute Stone completed the damage with his effort in the closing stages of the game after profiting from a counterattack from Bashiru Bamgbopa. Before the win over Divine Praise, Oga Boys had decimated Colins Edward 4-1 with Stephen Adodo getting a brace.

Ikorodu are fifth in the Nigeria National League log and would be hoping to get a promotion ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League at the end of the season.
