Hamza Abara is targeting a back-to-back victory against FC Ifeanyi Ubah when both sides meet in Sunday's Nigerian top-flight encounter in Nnewi.
Following their 1-1 home draw with Kwara United, the Ikon Allah Boys are hoping to avoid the third slip-up in a row following the ending of their nine-match unbeaten run.
With the visitors desperate to retain their fourth place, the gaffer is confident about his side's chances of securing a vital away result in the south-Eastern city.
"I hope lightning can strike twice and we can do it again [against FC Ifeanyi Ubah]," Abara told media.
"I've seen FC Ifeanyi Ubah quite a lot and know they're really a good team with some top players. We'll respect them but would hope with a game-plan to take points back to Minna.
"They have to win all their games as a top club so doesn’t think for a minute that they will switch off. We must perform well. If we do, I hope we can give them a really good game."
In the remembrance of their late Hussaini Isah, Abara pledges his side's determination to play out their heart in respect of the departed defender.
"This match is for Hussaini Isah, who we lost into the cold hand of death. I think that everyone has to show pride, desire, and fight to give him last respect.
"This is very important for me, for my staff and for the players, also because the supporters deserve at least this."
