Gor Mahia will face Wazito FC in a friendly match on Wednesday.

K’Ogalo will not be involved in weekend’s GOtv Shield and the record Kenyan champions will use the friendly for upcoming league matches. Gor Mahia’s next league match is set for July 23 against Nakumatt FC.

“Tomorrow (Wednesday), at Camp Toyoyo, we will host Gor Mahia for a friendly match,” Wazito confirmed on the club’s official facebook page.

Wazito beat KCB 3-0 in the last NSL league match while Gor Mahia lost 2-1 to Everton FC in a friendly staged in Tanzania. Meanwhile, Gor Mahia have joined Kisumu Supersub Branch in condoling with the family of one of the deceased club fan.

Leila Adhiambo, a die-hard Gor Mahia fan from Kisumu Branch, died early this week and K’Ogalo, through their secretary general, Ben Omondi have sent their message of condolence to the bereaved family.

“On behalf of the entire Gor Mahia Family, we condole with Kisumu Supersub Branch and the family of Leila Adhiambo."
