Things have apparently changed now as the two-time world champions are set to depart for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.
“We have changed our initial destination for the training tour from Europe to Dubai because of weather conditions," Fabin told Otec FM.
"Also, about seven countries are all having their training tour in Dubai and that will help us to play at least two international friendly games there before the tournament begins.
“We will be leaving Ghana on Wednesday to Dubai with 24 players before we submit our final 21 out of the 24 to Fifa.
“There will be some changes in the final squad. New players who were not part of the Africa Cup have now joined."
The Black Starlets, who last played at the global showpiece in 2007, finished second at the African championship in Gabon earlier this year.
