Franklin Sasere was on target as Sunshine Stars dismissed Zakariyau Lawal FC 5-0 in a pre-season game on Saturday in Iloko.
The Akure based side who narrowly escaped relegation last season put up a commanding performance to hit the amateur side for five at Royal Park Hotel football turf.
Ikedinachi Nwakanma put Duke Udi’s men ahead off a rebound from his penalty kick in the 18th minute before Jide Fatokun doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.

Two minutes from the halftime break, Fatokun completed his brace with second-half efforts from Sasere and Abiodun Joseph completed the rout.
Sunshine Stars are expected to play two more friendly games before heading to Owerri where they face Heartland in their Nigeria Professional Football League opener.
