Former West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has joined Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor on a season-long loan deal from Rennes.
The 28-year-old spent four years with the Hammers scoring 24 goals in 71 games across all competitions before his departure to the French Ligue 1 side in January.
Last season, Sakho made 13 league appearances scoring twice to help Rennes finish fifth in the league’s log.
On Friday, the Green Crocodiles announced the capture of the forward after concluding negotiations with him and the Roazhon Park outfit.
“A one-year lease agreement has been reached on the basis of the negotiations with the Diafra Sakho and Rennes of France,” read a statement from club website.
Sakho could make his debut when Bursaspor play host to Besiktas in Sunday’s Super Lig encounter.
