FIFA 19 Ones to Watch: Ronaldo, Higuain & Mahrez headline special cards for summer transfers

Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain and Riyad Mahrez headline EA Sports' Ones to Watch for FIFA 19, EA Sports announced on Friday.

The trio lead a list of 23 special Ultimate Team cards for the recently-released FIFA 19 that will be upgraded throughout the entirety of the season.

When a player named to the list is upgraded by being named to the Team of the Week, their Ones to Watch card will be boosted as well.

The game has typically featured Ones to Watch teams for both the summer and winter transfer windows, with this season's summer squad headlined by the 94-rated Ronaldo.

Joining the squad are a number of Premier League imports, including Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Fred, Alisson and Jorginho, while Serie A stars Radja Nainggolan, Joao Cancelo and Sime Vrsaljko could also receive boosts throughout the year.

The list also includes several younger stars like Everton's Richarlison, Barcelona signing Malcolm, Russian standout Aleksandr Golovin and Real Madrid arrival Mariano.
