Bantwana coach Simphiwe Dludlu also named the final 21-member squad for the tournament in Uruguay

The SA girls team, Bantwana are in Group B with Mexico, Japan and Brazil, a difficult ask for this Under-17 World Cup.

“Trimming the squad to the final 21 was not an easy process because we had brought in talented players in our provisional squad to select from,” Dludlu told Safa Media.

“The technical staff had to sit down and we had long and tough decisions to make to reach the final squad. But I am glad with the final product and this team should make the country proud.”
