Kasimpasa’s Mahmoud Trezeguet has labelled Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah as the world's best player.

Salah, who made the top-three FIFA shortlist for 2018 Ballon d’Or along with Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo, following his impressive feat last campaign for the Reds, was praised by his compatriot.

The Egypt forward netted 44 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side, helping the club achieve third place in the Premier League and helping them reach Champions League final.

He also scored all his country's goals [2] in their disappointing 2018 World Cup campaign.
