Dorian Marin: I knew AFC Leopards will lose to Gor Mahia

AFC Leopards coach Dorian Marin says he knew his side was going to lose Super Cup final against rivals Gor Mahia.

K'Ogalo fired in three past their bitter rivals to walk home with Sh3million as well as a chance to face Everton on July 13 in Tanzania. The new man has also hit out at his predecessors for the team's current situation. "Gor Mahia is way up above us, and they were definitely going to cause problems.

"I knew it was going to be a tough call for us but I had to motivate my players and instill that winning mentality in them. This is a big team and I fail to understand what those before me were doing. Anyway it is my job to turn the fortunes around and I am sure we will make this team great again."

AFC Leopards' next assignment will be against 2008 champions Mathare United on Sunday.
