Medeama ace Kwasi Donsu remains upbeat about their possibility of winning the Ghana Premier League after Sunday's victory over Dreams FC.

The Yellow and Mauves currently sit second on the table courtesy of a 2-0 triumph over Still Believe, who hold the third spot.

Donsu was on the score sheet on the day, alongside Eric Kwakwa.

“It’s a good win for us but we must give respect to Dreams FC for giving us a tough assignment,” the midfielder told his club's official website.

“The belief is always there. When you play for such a club, you start every competition believing that you can win it.

“Some bad games didn’t allow us to win it last year, but we need to find that consistency that can make us fight in the last months and be one of those teams that will be up there.

“We’re really pleased with our start, but it’s only a start.

"We’ve won six games with confidence and good football. Let’s see how it goes going forward.”

Medeama, who finished ninth last season, play away to Berekum Chelsea in their next game.
