Dida pleased with Yanga perfomance despite exit

Yanga played a goalless draw and were eliminated in the process

Former Taifa Stars and Yanga goalkeeper, Deograrius Munish “Dida” is pleased with his former clubs performance in their second leg clash of the CAF Champions League against the Township Rollers.

Yanga played a scoreless draw and were eliminated in the process because they were beaten 2-1 at home in the first leg.

Speaking to Goal, Dida said that Yanga had a good game but they were eliminated because they did not use their home ground well.
“I watched the game and i was pleased with the performance, the team is growing much stronger day after day and I hope they will win something this season,” said Dida.

The goalkeeper who played for Yanga for five seasons left the club prior to this season to join Tuks FC of South Africa.
