Crystal Palace taking the positives from results, says Jeffrey Schlupp

Jeffrey Schlupp disclosed that Crystal Palace are building on their recent results in the English top-flight.

The Selhurst Park outfit who are placed 20th in the table with 11 points from 16 games are yet to lose a game since November 5, with a record of four draws and a win in their last five games.

And the 24-year-old who made 14 league appearances this campaign is confident that the Eagles can turn the tide around by winning subsequent games.

"You try and look at it as less as you can [the Premier League table]," Schlupp told SkySports News.

"It's one of those things that obviously everyone sees and people are talking about it but we're taking the positives out of how we've been playing recently.

"There's been three or four we've drawn recently where we feel we've done enough to win, so you've got to take the positives out of those, of course.

"We're creating a lot of chances and hopefully we can keep doing that and win some games."

Following the sack of Dutch gaffer Frank de Boer in September, the Eagles have garnered 11 points in their last nine games.

And the former Leicester City defender is upbeat of Roy Hodgson’s experience at the helm and he believes that the former England manager can lead the south London outfit out of the relegation waters.

"It's clear to see what Roy has got a great CV. He's done well with every team he's been at, really," he continued.

"We've got all the faith in him and he's got all the faith in us and I think our performances of recent have been showing that.

"We've come a long way from the beginning of the season and I feel with him in charge we've got a great chance of staying up, which I'm sure we will do."

Crystal Palace head into Tuesday’s league tie against Watford with two points adrift from safety.
